Trump Was Right: On the Economy and the Border

biden

These days, former President Trump is most likely getting tired of doing the “I told you so!” dance around his Mar-a-Lago club. While the media works overtime to protect Biden, the current administration still can not help themselves from handing Trump more wins and more political ammunition for 2024. Two cases in point are the teetering U.S. economy and the crisis on America’s southern border.

The greatest impact of President Biden’s economic agenda can be felt by every single American household that is now paying approximately $175 more per month for basic goods and services than they were 8 months ago. Inflation is up 5.3% as of August 2021 compared to the same time one year ago.

In June 2021, former President Trump appeared on Fox Business’ Varney & Co. show, where he outlined his worst fears of America under Biden. Trump expressed that he was “very worried” about the direction of America. He warned of “massive inflation,” which was “going to be rampant” and “very bad,” if Biden and the Congressional Democrats got their way.

“We had energy independence when I left [office]. Gasoline was $1.87, now it’s going to be double that. It’s going to be triple and quadruple that,” Trump told show host Stuart Varney by phone. Indeed, the national average of the price of gas is $3.288 as of this writing, nearly double, as Trump astutely predicted.

“Food prices, everything, lumber for a house is up at a level that it’s never been, so it costs much more for housing. It’s inflation,” Trump told Varney.

“I used to spend $70 a week, but all of sudden this summer, I noticed that I couldn’t leave the store without spending at least $120,” education worker Allison says, according to the New York Post.

On immigration, things are even more bleak for everyone living in Biden’s America.

When Trump was preparing to leave office in December 2020, the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) reported 40,565 Southwest border crossings. Under President Biden, the USBP reported 208,887 crossings at the Southwest border in August 2021. That’s more than 4 times as many people crossing the border than when President Trump left office a mere 8 months ago.

As the Biden border crisis continues unabated, Biden has not visited the border to see the carnage firsthand. In fact, he hasn’t visited the border in over a decade, leading RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to make the point that “his policies show it” in a recent op-ed penned in The Hill. In an ironic twist, Biden laid into Trump on the campaign trail over his immigration policies, particularly deportations and entry refusal, as his administration is now defending those practices-mostly because they now know that Trump was right, and it worked.

While it appears that President Biden is trying to have his cake and eat it too, the American people can see through the President’s words as compared to his deeds. President Biden’s job approval rating has now fallen to 44%, down from 55% in July, according to Pew Research Center’s latest poll (Sept. 13-19, 2021). Clearly, Trump was right about a lot of things, especially the economy and the Biden border crisis.

Of course he was right on the economy & the border…Everything Trump & his team did was correct.
Trump the non-politician is your basic meat & potato’s kind of guy, he tells you like it is, makes no bones about it…He is a ” can do ” kind of man, that is his everyday persona on a daily basis…
Trump will not & has not committed to a 2024 run for potus, why is that? Trump is keenly aware the 2020 election fiasco has to be addressed first & foremost.
Has anyone noticed how quiet MSM, the Democrats & RINO’s have been with respect to the AZ audits & the ( 6 ) key states that made the stolen election possible? All of it is once again on the back burner, why is that?
In summary: If the fraudulent 2020 US presidential election & the fraudulent Georgia senatorial runoff election is allowed to stand as is, the faux administration is able to ram through a 5.5 trillion dollar reconciliation bill, which essentially makes everything they illegally committed in 2020 now legal for the 2022 upcoming midterms, it is game over for America…This in all likiyhood means the Democrat & RINO’s beloved Dominion/Smartmatic systems remain in place, just like in Venezuela, i.e. Chavez & Maduro were keenly aware of the importance of Dominion voting machines & the associated Smartmatic software that work together, hand in hand…It got Obama reelected to a 2nd term in 2012 & was allowed to stand, it almost got HRC elected, but it did not anticipate so many people would vote for Trump in 2016, i.e. he beat the algorithms. We all now know what has occurred in the 2020 presidential & the Georgia general, with one minor caveat, they got caught & the election fraud committed was overwhelming on BOTH of those elections. Thus far the Democrats, the poll workers, the crooked AG’s, the crooked RINO Board of Supervisors in AZ, the crooked gov. of AZ, i.e. Doug Ducey, the crooked SOS in Georgia, Brad Raffensberger & his sidekick gov, Brian Kemp, all have thus far been held completely unaccountable for their treasonous behavior against the people of their respective states & every American citizen as a whole…
I wait with bated breath for the eventual arrests of each & every one of them, all the way down to the individual poll workers themselves & those managers just above them…
God bless America,
Bill on the Hill… :~)

Sounds like you will be heeding Mr. Trump’s instructions NOT to vote in 2022 or 2024 unless our great man is declared the winner of 2020 and the true President. I applaud you, sir. We need more like you in the ranks. If we show up to the polls, we are just playing into the Demon-rats and RINOs’ hands!!

I knew he was good for us but not everyone agreed with me..giving every reason why he was not…many dumb reasons. Now we’re all paying for the blunders of Biden.

We must vote in 2022 and 2024. I we don’t kick the fools and radicals out of office this next time we will never have a chance to get this country turned around. Republicans are massing millions of dollars to get out the vote.

Great, another Never Trumper who thinks he’s smarter than our great President. Do you think Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing when he tells us to sit out the vote? Many have underestimated him already. You saying we “must” vote puts you on the opposite side of the line.

Trump has been right about everything since day one. So I am listening closely to him when he says that we should NOT vote in 2022 or 2024, unless Mr. Trump is officially declared the victor of the 2020 election. It is a controversial stance but I am PROUD of him for being bold and speaking the truth.

I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for anyone outside Trump’s camp to declare him the victor in the 2020 election. Everyone, JUST VOTE. This should be an easy win, if we can rely on the integrity of the machines and the process.

I plan to volunteer in 2022 if only to keep an eye on things. No more boxes being pulled out from under tables. No more “Oh, the plumbing broke. You [Republicans] can all go home now.” No more cardboard over the windows. Elections boards all across the country must stick to the rules—cut-off time, observers, verifying absentee ballots…

Mr. Trump says we should not vote if he is not declared the 2020 winner. Is your loyalty to him or to RINOs like McConnell?

How can not voting serve any purpose other than getting more of the same garbage from the dems?

Are you using your head? I hate repeating myself, but, for you, John S, I’ll make an exception:

“How can not voting serve any purpose other than getting more of the same garbage from the dems?”

I hate to have to dig up Mr. Trump’s exact words for people who have apparently stopped paying attention to the greatest President our nation has ever known, but this is what he said:

“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ‘22 or ‘24.”

Does the fraud look “solved” to you? It doesn’t look solved to Mr. Trump. And this is what he is telling us to do, if things do not change. So if you vote in 2022 or 2024, you are going against him. I will not personally break my oath to this great man, but perhaps some are not as loyal as I am.

It’s cr*p like this that is the reason smart Republicans like me and Kim are no longer listening to Trump. You want to stick by this jerk while he destroys the party? Go ahead. Thank you Kim for not being a “Forever Trumper.”

This is true — but I do not like Trump telling Republicans not to vote in 2022 or 2024 unless he is somehow declared retroactively the winner of the 2020 election. He is asking people to take sides: choose Trump, or choose the whole rest of the Republican Party.

I’m not a Biden fan and I don’t think he’s doing a very good job but I don’t really need to have Trump tell me that, I can figure that out for myself. As far as I’m concerned, Trump blew it, he crossed the line Jan 6th and I’ll never support him again.

You, my friend, are what the media loves! What did Trump do save for making a speech? January 6th happened because of some radicals and the well-informed and intelligent people know that!

If everyone knew January 6th was going to be “a thing”, why didn’t D.C. and Capitol Hill beef up security? Why were busloads of “protesters (not R’s)” brought in before President Trump finished his speech? Why were police so feeble when they did “confront” those who broke in?

Despite his tweets, Trump was (is) one of the best things this country has ever seen, and to refuse to support him is just plain foolish. Biden not “doing a very good job”? Are you kidding me?

Says the person who is refusing to follow his specific instructions about not voting in 2022 or 2024! Yes he may still be declared winner of the 2020 election, in which case we CAN resume voting as usual — but if that doesn’t happen, we need to be strong and boycott the vote! “Supporting Trump” goes beyond saying you like him; it means doing what he asks and being a True Patriot!

Hey Smike, you seem to know so much, you are wrong about Jan. 6. Trump had nothing to do with that, and if you can’t see that, we’ll you aren’t very smart. It is all very obvious to see.

Biden is doing his best to destroy America. Maybe a few more Republicans will stand up to fight Biden Pelosi and Schumer. If they get their two bills passed then it is no reason to look to 2022 because the Chinese will own us!
