If you’re a taxpayer in New York, or anywhere in the U.S., you’re getting scammed by groups like United Way, Catholic Charities and the Central American Refugee Center (CARECEN). You may think they’re charities. Truth is, these groups are hauling in millions in taxpayer dollars — your money — under government contracts to facilitate illegal immigration.
It’s money laundering. Democratic politicians want to maximize illegal immigration, but they don’t want their fingerprints on it. The remedy: pay so-called charities that will do the work for them. Who’s in on this scam? President Joe Biden, and politicians across the country including New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser and New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Even before crossing the border, migrants still in Mexico are being handed payment cards loaded with $400 a month to enable them to pay for necessities. The cards are distributed by the nonprofit International Organization for Migration, thanks to money provided by the State Department.
After crossing and surrendering to U.S. Border Patrol agents, many migrants are directed to Catholic Charities, which provides them with hotel rooms, meals and clothing, and sometimes pays for their bus or plane tickets to their chosen destinations. Sister Norma Pimentel, executive director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, explains that the mission is merely to “give a cup of water in Jesus’ name.”
Who can argue with that? Except that the money isn’t coming from the Sunday collection basket. Sister Pimentel admits her organization is reimbursed by the federal government. It’s coming from taxpayers, who have no clue they’re supporting illegal immigration.
Texans such as Rep. Lance Gooden blame these organizations for “fueling the drastic increases in illegal immigration across our southern border and throughout the country.”
Texas and Arizona are busing migrants to the nation’s capital. Meeting the buses there are staff from CARECEN, a far-left group funded almost entirely by government contracts, and Catholic Charities. These groups hand out gift cards and food packages, direct migrants to shelters or hotel rooms, or help them buy tickets to other destinations. Who pays for all this? FEMA — the Federal Emergency Management Agency, a government agency that funnels money through nonprofits.
FEMA’s Emergency Food and Services Program board includes Catholic Charities and United Way, which pass the money to local nonprofits serving immigrants in the country illegally. FEMA has already provided $2.2 million in humanitarian funding for this purpose in the D.C. area.
On to the New York area, where the Biden administration has been flying in migrants on charter flights in the dead of night. After these flights land, usually at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, migrants get on chartered buses and head off to destinations across the region, including several Catholic Charities facilities.
Catholic Charities and CARECEN are funded largely by government contracts, not private donations, their financial statements reveal. Hochul supports both these organizations through her Office for New Americans.
CARECEN’s stated mission is especially revealing. It includes voter registration and civic engagement. Translation: adding to the rolls of Democratic Party voters.
On July 19, Adams bemoaned the surge of migrants coming into the homeless shelter system. But don’t take his protestations seriously. It’s Democratic Party theatrics.
New York is required to provide shelter to anyone from anywhere who has no other place to sleep. That’s thanks to lawsuits brought by nonprofits such as the Coalition for the Homeless. Who funds the coalition? New York City and New York State. The coalition is a quasi-government actor posing as a charity. It’s the city suing the city. The losers are taxpayers, who foot the bill for the charade.
And Americans already here who need a helping hand, such as Jeffrey Harris, a 56-year-old veteran living in one of the shelters. “If we can’t take care of the homeless here, how can we take immigrants?” he fumed.

First hand story- my husband and I flew in a plane over the Atlantic to Europe, and next to us sat a young Muslim man who told us that his job was “ getting paid by the Catholic charities to actually go overseas and bring back fellow Muslims to America”. In North Dakota it was the Lutheran church which made a lot of money under Obama to help the Muslims settle in America. ( The Democrats are filling up red states with foreigners to help their vote.) It is sad when a religion will compromise, like a politician, because they are being bought by the federal government, and I say that as a strong believer in Christianity.
I think the comment by Jeff Harris pretty much says it all as to how fouled up the Biden Administration is handling illegal immigration. The reason for it? ….. get more bodies that can be used in vote rigging.
The Catholic Church has lost it’s way. They’re bending a knee to a corrupt government. With our tax dollars!
I certainly was not aware of how we the people are funding this awful practice. This must be stopped.
There’s so much crap like this going. Wish we knew all of and most importantly, how to stop it. It’s our money.
$400 debit cards given to illegals while they’re still in Mexico? How much of that money is taken by the cartels? Why is the Bidin administration funding criminals in Mexico? Shouldn’t we at least wait until they’re in our country before handing out taxpayer money?
Because Biden is in bed with the cartels. He thinks all these illegals are going to get away with voting and he thinks they will vote Democrat. Why would they vote for the same type of government they are running from?
And lets not forget Biden`s secret ‘fly by night’ planes flights – paid by tax payers – that transport illegals at wee hours of night – to different areas of US., from DHS detention centers, to manipulate voting results to democratic benefits.

Yes, when these illegals are processed for release into the United States, they are signed up for a whole punch of “freebies” at taxpayer expense. Including a monthly stipend and other services. By the way, the actual figure since Biden opened our southern border is now over 3.5 million illegals as of the end of June 2022. But hey it’s only money and we can always pay much higher taxes so people who shouldn’t even be here can enjoy a good life. That was sarcasm.

Remove tax status for Non profits aiding illegals
Looks like Catholic Charities, under the guidance of Sister Norma Pimentel is giving OUR money to criminals who are entering OUR country illegally.

The stark fact is that many mainline so called Christian denominations have been hollowed out and are nothing more than communist fronts. Ive had my share of run ins with these people. Their goals are indistinguishable from those of communists everywhere; the collectivization of wealth as well as the ceding of individual freedom and rule by a select group of gnostics. They of course are these enlightened ones, channeling their wisdom to the deplorables; we trogs who wish to hold onto the fruits of our labors and live with as much autonomy as possible.
Most organized religions in this country have sold out to the government long ago in order to preserve their tax exempt status. Which is why what is preached in most congregations these days is to just behave as sheep, don’t resist, don’t push back and definitely don’t stand up for yourself. Be meek and keep turning the other cheek no matter how many times you are punched in the gut. Just be content to wait for salvation in the after-life and just “go along to get along” through life. It’s mental conditioning to foster being docile sheep, no matter what. There is no more right and wrong. No commentary from the pulpit about good causes and bad causes happening around the world today. No discussion of real world good and evil and the ramifications. Just abstract degrees of endless tolerance you are supposed to endure until you die.

There are literally hundreds of different organizations in the United States setup as charities, foundations, etc. whose sole function is to faciliate a political agenda.
As for the illegal alien inflows into this country, such groups are supplying not only food and money, but clothes, transportation, education as to what to say when they surrender to the Border Patrol to ensure they get released into the United States, as well as contacts for these illegal aliens to use within the United States to find housing the government ends up paying for. Then these organizations arrange for jobs, getting IDs and all the rest that these illegal aliens need to blend into society and vanish off the radar screen permanently. Understand what these so-called charities and foundations really are.
A clear sign that the DemocRats want to salt the US citizenry with more people that are can be managed to provide illegal VOTES and other illegal help. Sadly, it seems that the DemocRat Commies have managed to exercise a dominant control of the majority of the news media, which makes it difficult for many Americans to understand the clear and present danger the DemocRat Party brings to this Nation.
