I applaud our Truckers and the very necessary job they have accomplished. It is deplorable that the real nature of our news media coverage has come to light. My most serious concern is how people do not want to study and educate themselves. they WANT to be told what to think. I have talked with many and am constantly suprised and saddened that our citizens here in the US do NOT understand that our very CONSTITUTION is SUSPENEDED as long as the Health emergency status stays in place. This how there are votes at 3am in Congress and issues being lumped together and passed without the proper puclic notices going out. As long as people do not want to be seriously involved, our beautiful nation will continue to decline.
The truckers were committed about not being vaccinated. When they are infected, will they stllbe committed by refusing hospital beds and/or treatment? I fully expect them to wuss out and run whining to the nearest hospital and DEMAND treatment.

Being a veteran (24yrs.) I’ve been sent all over the world to liberate countries from this sort of tyranny, with that being said, I see our nation’s government becoming the same tyrants disreguarding the constitution and enable rights which I fought to preserve and lost many comrades in arms to do so. I see our country in a downhill spiral headed for hell if the people don’t start realizing that we the people, by the people,for the people are the boss fire the bad politicians who don’t serve the people who put them in the position they hold. We must hold each of them accountable to the constitutional laws prescribed with no double standards. but unfortunately we have let the politicians go too far which is irreversible. No due process of the law exists any longer and the only faith and trust we should be putting our efforts in is God and the Lord’s return!!

My partner works in a hospital. She comes home fuming about having to put a cardiac patient on hold, while an unvaxxed covid patient usurps the bed for the cardiac patient, just so they can croak in a hospital bed.

All TruDOPE needed to do was ATTEMP to resolve the problem by TALKING to the Truckers! The Truckers worked prior to the vax and were hailed as heros. They kept the Counties running and supply shortages at a minimum. The biggest problem was not COVID, it was government intervention using COVID as an excuse. Govt needs to stay in their lane and let people be responsible. For mandates to require our early heros to get vaxed or lose their jobs is incomprehensible.

There is no freedom without responsibility (that’s anarchy) and no one has the freedom to make all fellow citizens sick by not taking a vaccine, which may not be perfectly safe, but is much less dangerous than the Delta form of Covid-19. Yes, I took microbiology at UC Berkeley and I do understand the science and feel sorry for people who can’t spell, even with spell-check (woman above who used “there” instead of “their” right)

Trudeau did the right thing. The truckers were blocking emergency vehicles, making so much noise it was disturbing the lives of citizens that lived there.
I think he should have come down on the truckers sooner than he did.

The thing that most Americans are missing is that the Canadians and likely many truckers voted this government in. Canada is not Cuba or Russia yet. They always vote FOR their “free” government healthcare. Now they are upset when the their healthcare tells them to do something. People should be much more concerned with the quiet insidious attack on religious freedom in Canada.

I support the truckers, but I think they went about it incorrectly. Instead of blocking city streets, they should have continued to deliver to grocery stores, etc., but stop all deliveries to any government entity, local or federal. I think they would have received a stronger public support if they had.
The vaccine mandate is/was to keep covid from being spread across the border in both directions.

Hannity ranted last night about the liberal judges in NY & Calif —-and showed video of a thug in NYC walking down street & punching a 4-year old. But in the past, Hannity has said the Jan 6th group were peaceful & should not be arrested …..because they did not arrest the people that rioted over Floyd death. Hannity, do you realize 148-Capitol police were injured by the rioters Jan 6th. You cannot play both sides: And my opinion is if you attack any police officer you should be arrested & jailed ++ without the weak bail dollars.

Honestly, criminal rioters (“trespassers”) are not to be favored. Nor is the House Speaker and grossly derelict officers to be excused for lack of proper preparation, and not accepting timely, reasonable security offered for our capitol. That said, are we to overlook the officers who opened gates, doors, and obstacles to let innocent citizens into that capitol? What are we to discern about other officers who took selfies with “intruders;” and other officers actually escorted people into the capitol? And, who is Ray Epps? I guess you didn’t watch as the Capital police opened the doors and escorted the ” insurgents”/ trespassers in. You seem to have selective seeing and hearing.
I’m surprised how few know what really happened on Jan 6. It WAS a peaceful protest. Trump knowing there would be a large contingent, with possible infiltrators requested extra protection however Nancy refused because they planned the whole damn riot. The same FBI who plotted the Governor Whidmer “Kidnapping”, were on the ground instructing innocents to enter to Capital. Buses of Antifa were also video taped being brought in that night to foment a riot. All the while police opened doors and chit chatted and took selfies with them. In another area, protesters were funneled into the Capital tunnel, where police attacked them. That was also recorded by protesters, one woman was beaten to death by a female officer, and others were severly injured. Pelosi has refused Congress access to the Capital video tapes because it was all a set up! They’re calling it an ” insurection” because under article 14, anyone involved in an “insurection” can’t run for office…aka, all the congressmen who supported it and are up for reelection.
And the Capitol cop that shot dead the unarmed female veteran got a pat on the back.
Rand Paul has promoted the truckers to block USA streets last week & now Hannity on Fox is hoping truckers will hit DC with protests. And he says okay as long as peaceful… but it will hurt Americans that cannot go to work or get supplies they need. My opinion, there is no such thing as a PEACEFUL PROTEST as you will always have one loose cannon in the group. And the peaceful ones might get beat up or hurt & then they blame police and sue for big settlements.
