I did not take part in this poll about Independence Day as there was not a selection that embodies what I do.

Kids are not being taught what Independence Day is all about!! My brother-in-law in Cleveland, OH laments that his grandkids respond to his greetings with a “Happy 4th of July” greeting, all the while not knowing anything about this holiday, thinking its another reason to BBQ! Who voted for this incompetent President??

I am blessed to live in the greatest country in the world and pray there are enough patriots to keep it that way.

We spent Saturday welcoming back our son in law from Afghanistan. He was away from his family for 15 months. Two extra months because of the pandemic. What a celebration we had with friends and family! The 4th we all went to church and he and his children got up and sang “God Bless America”❤️

You forgot the duty of protecting our sensitive loved ones from the fireworks. Not just the professional ones and not just for one night. I feel it’s an important duty to do this. Celebrate Independence Day every day of the year by being a patriot. Just my opinion and experience. God bless.

In my state individual fireworks are illegal. The amount of illegal fireworks all around the city is always incredible. The fine, if caught, is $1000. The state and cities spend a fair amount on yard signs and other advertising to get the word out. The police are kept very busy. Too many people just dare the police to catch them. It’s a shame how many people just don’t care about the law anymore. They seem to think that it’s all OK as long as you don’t get caught. What a shame to teach your children this type of “citizenship”.

Here, The Fourth of July Celebration was amazing with 14 Dead and 74 wounded in Chicago alone by revelers!
LOVE of country and celebration of We The People was honored by incredible displays of violence.
The corridor North along the shores of Lake Michigan toward Kenosha and Milwaukee the night-time skies we lit by what sounded like Artillery barrages. Windows shook and pictures rattled punctuated by flashes until shortly after 4 AM.
What a Country these Democrats have!

What this moron, Gwen Berry, hasn’t figured out is that this is the only Country that would put up with her garbage!! In any other Country she would be shot by citizens while the cops looked the other way!! We the USA have an Affirmative Action Plan (which simply means DON’T hire this person because he/she got here because of the color of her skin, not because she knew her stuff)!

I joined family for a parade in their town on July 3. A beautiful display of community, overall. Sad to see no Republican/Conservative representation; however all the Democrat politicians and the committee were out in full force.
On Sunday, we went to Mass, then rejoined the family for a visit. We watched fire works on tv.

We spent Sunday morning the 4th at church, praying for our country to come back to God.

We desire warm, loving, devoted relations with fellow Americans to enrich our hearts and minds in the pursuit of Life, liberty, and happiness (enlightened joy).
Consequently, thoughtful Americans near and far, are constantly – on a daily basis – taking responsibility and control for our future, never allowing anyone or anything to stand between our commitment to ourselves, our loved ones, and honorable purposes of our heritage.
We will prevail – diligently celebrating Independence – because we are free.

Wept over and prayed for this nation. Evangelism rather than politics, is the solution to America’s problems. May God awaken us before we destroy ourselves; that is the prayer of this US Navy vet.

God Bless America. Went to church and had a great BBQ with family. Thank you to all our veterans – they are the reason we can celebrate!

I also did the most important thing besides barbecue with friends – I went to church to pray for our nation.
