Cool/ clever way to remember school quizzies—even if missed 1/3 of them.

I really should study the answers before choosing one. I knew Alaska was the largest state (I chose Texas without looking at the rest). Duh!

I always thought the Mississippi River was the longest in the U S. Now I learned the Missouri is 21 miles longer.

Great quiz. Did better than I expected…13 correct. Just not up on my lakes. Need to take this to my grandson’s high school and see how they do.

Great quiz got 14 out of 15. Had no idea which great lake did not border Canada so I picked Huron. I was sure about Lake Superior, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario. That left Huron and Michigan. I chose Huron and 30 seconds later remembered Gordon Lightfoot’s song mentioning Lakes Huron, Erie, Ontario, and Superior. I had a lucky guess with the question about the state with the smallest coastline on the Atlantic. The shape and position gave New Hampshire an edge.

Wouldn’t this be better titled ‘A Geography Quiz’ instead of a ‘history’ quiz?
I missed 4. Ugh. Go with your first instinct!

Ugh. 8 out of 15! and I pride myself as a Jeapordy king. Its a good thing I’ve lived in Michigan, Texas, Cali, and South Dakota or I would have really done poorly. BTW according to Arnold (a sad excuse for a Republican) it’s Sacramenta.

I got them all correct but I had lucky guesses with Harrisburg PA and Topeka KS. Love these quizzes. Even if I get a wrong answer I learn something.

We tied, Diana. Not good and less than 60%, so we each failed. But then again, we can’t know everything, huh?
Same here. Not so great, but we tried!
I got 14 of 15. I used the map in the background to answer 4 of the questions correctly. :-) The map especially helped with the Rio Grande question!
