AMAC in Newsday-Is AARP Too Liberal? That’s What Its Right-Leaning Rivals, Including One From LI, Say

AMAC

AMAC’s CEO Rebecca Weber and COO Dave Weber spoke with Newsday about the battle for the hearts, minds, and Medicare dollars of senior citizens across America. See how AMAC, the leading conservative senior organization, is fighting to not only preserve American values and the sanctity of life, but provide much needed guidance to Medicare-eligible seniors.

Typical MSM article, but glad AMAC got the “airtime”. The Newsday writer downplays the left-wing bias of AARP and then tries to use “Fact-checkers” to help, as if they have any credibility whatsoever. The quotes from the Hofstra professor is laughable with words like “probably” or “my impression”…so, Mr. Professor, you have no idea, but it’s your “feeling”…typical leftwing [non] thought process. All’s one has to do is read any AARP piece and you can see the leaning of their organization. Further, almost like clockwork since the late 90’s have their employees donated mostly to Democrats…somewhere in the neighborhood of 90%+ and AARP is consistently in the Top 50 for lobbying activities…my guess is they aren’t lobbying for LESS federal government interference in the lives of Americans. And many times, the troops get their marching orders from the higher ups, so they probably should donate “correctly”…

AARP has also had a huge time advantage over AMAC and ASA, so of course their numbers are much larger, but it’s nice to see alternatives to the “800lb gorilla” and I’m sure they will chip away at the AARP dominance. I know the AARP mailers we get go right into the shredder and we will certainly be happy to support an alternative like AMAC when we are ready.

AARP supports so called “same sex” marriage, and any other perverted organizations. They also are anti 2ND AMNDMNT and pro abortion.Take a look at the Hollywood scumbags who are on AARPS roles.

I dumped AARP when they endorsed obamacare. They are very liberal just like the POS in charge of our country (and this state ..CA).

I was an AARP member for the last 8 years. I too got real tired of the liberal slant in their magazine articles. And another thing. I got real tired of their glossy magazines featuring Hollywood stars and their wonderful senior lives. I’m 58, still working 40 plus hours a week. I take care of my own, my family. AMAC was suggested to me while attending church one Sunday. Monday morning I cancelled AARP and joined AMAC. If there is any AMAC leadership reading these comments, please don’t let me down.

AARP works for COMMUNISM. Why else would they vote for Obamacare. Obama paid them to back Obamacare. Two days before vote AARP was against Obamacare. Two days later they sided with TERRORIST Supporter Obama.
And to top it off they support HILLDOG Clinton to this very day.
So anything that AARP says or does CANNOT be Trusted.
AARP is as trustworthy as DICTATOR Beijing biden and COMMUNIST China.

They lost me when they endorsed Obamacare while getting their own little gap insurance carve out….

We quit the day they started slamming candidate Trump & backed H. Clinton 100% without any “free speech” involved. Unfortunately, we were “forced” into using their equally liberal, anti-senior healthcare partner United Healthcare. That mess, fortunately was resolved this year!

Unfortunately too many people choose United Healthcare for their insurance,, not realizing they are in bed with AARP, who are in bed with the Democrats!!!

The choice is made for UHC because the plan is affordable. Had to let go of better plans because the monthly payments were too high and were raised twice a year. The insurances should not be allowed to charge those high prices for retired people.

You might try calling AMAC for health care. I did.

I refused to join AARP. When I heard about AMAC I joined and sent info about the Conservative alternative to AARP to other friends and family members. I got my Mutual of Omaha Part B through AMAC.

I used to subscribe to AARP for several years. When I figured out that their politics did not match mine (way too liberal!!) I unsubscribed. When I heard a radio program talking about AMAC I decided to join it instead. I’ve never been sorry about that decision on my part. Keep up the good work, AMAC.

Then, ante up. The magazine alone is worth more than the cost of membership.

He’s referring to the newsday article. He can’t access newsday and no one wants to pay for that.

Thank you John, that’s what I was talking about.

The story implies that we can click and read it as part of public access.

Yes, hopefully Pam Smith (Admin) below and AMAC won’t run any 3rd party ad that doesn’t allow free access. If so, we’re back to square one.
